For many years, the Kay Bojesen Marine hasn’t been in production, but now he has signed in again, ready to go to seain anew and updated design. Marine has the exact same shape as the original wooden figurine – straight-backed, proud, and charming with the head slightly tilted. Small details in the paintwork are updated with great respect to the original design, so he still appears minimalistic, stylish, and iconic. The uniform is navy blue, and the characteristic collar with the white stripes is painted by hand with great precision – just like the rest of the figurine.
Marine is made of FSC-certified beech and is the epitome of Danish quality craftsmanship. The design is simple and solid, yet full of life, soul, and stories about life at sea that will unfold in our own imagination.
